The association between Hans J. Wegner and Carl Hansen & Son dates back to 1949. The first furniture models - the legendary "Wishbone Chair" - was presented during 1950 and was shortly follwed by a substantial number of different chairs, which have nearly all gained the status as classic chairs, sought after as collectors items all over the world. Their teamwork has brought about a number of attractive furniture that continues to draw the attention both in Denmark and abroad.
