| African Cream Music African Cream Music is an independent record label based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Established in 2001 with the aim of sharing the best of African music with the world, the company showcases the most talented musicians, artists and producers on the African continent.
After working in property development for many years, founder and CEO Alex Agulnik decided that creating a record label that celebrated African music was the best way to follow his passion. Involved with Digital Cupboard at the time, the biggest Internet site on the continent at the time, Agulnik realised that there was a huge thirst for music from the African continent across the globe that needed to be quenched. And so, African Cream Music was born.
